B.SC AGRICULTURE

B.Sc.(Hons.) in Horticulture (4 year degree programme) is an advanced programme in the field of agricultural science that comprises subjects regarding the cultivation of plants and the study of seeds. The programme also covers plant diseases growth and genetics. The course covers practices that can help enhance plant growth and increase the yield without damaging the quality. In order to achieve this goal the course combines the concepts of Biochemistry Genetic Engineering Biology and other related subjects. The programme is in demand as there is a constant demand for quality food at reasonable prices and horticulturalists are required to achieve this goal.
Bachelor of Science in Forestry is a four-year undergraduate program that is divided into eight equal semesters. It provides students with the knowledge and training about Forestry. Forestry program trains students in the managing of forests, new plantation, maintaining old plantations and other natural resources.
